One simple reason: there is absolutely no need to.
Silk always has coupons available on their website. And as much as I preach to my friends about avoiding large chains & going to smaller locally-owned grocers, the truth is that you can almost always find Silk on sale in at least one of the major chains. Add a few coupons & a long shelf life, and you can easily stock up on Silk for somewhere around $2.10 a half gallon when you double up like this.
Oh, and those overpriced but incredibly delish Fruit & Protein shakes they have? They have a $1 off coupon for those on the website. Print those out & hold on to them — places like Vons will regularly have specials on these items. The other day I used a coupon to buy a quart of Strawberry-Banana Fruit & Protein shake for Fifty-Eight cents. That’s right folks– two quarters, one nickel, three pennies & one very valuable coupon. That’s all it takes.
